The Gourmet Market supermarket chain in the basement of Siam Paragon is huge and fully stocked. You can find almost anything here — especially Thai specialties and seasonal fresh fruits. There’s lots of delicious food too. As soon as you walk in, you’ll be amazed by all kinds of Thai products. Prices range from cheap to expensive, and many items make great souvenirs to bring back to China for friends. If you’re still wondering what to buy in Thailand, I recommend coming for a browse!

If you purchase more than 5,000 THB, they even offer free delivery to your hotel (within 10 km). So convenient! What’s worth buying? Let’s take a look!
Come check it out!
1. Crispy Pork Chips

This snack is very famous in Thailand and especially common in the northeast. The pork slices are paper-thin, aromatic, and ultra-crispy — so tasty you just can’t stop.
2. Dried Fruit

Dried fruit is a must-buy when traveling in Thailand — a snack you can eat anytime, anywhere. You’ll find many types in the supermarket, such as durian, mango, strawberry, and banana. Pick any flavor you like; they’re all tasty, not overly sweet, and reasonably priced.

3. Pretz Sticks, Spicy Lettuce Wrap Flavor

Pretz was my favorite snack as a kid. It comes in many flavors, but my favorite is the spicy lettuce wrap (Thai salad) flavor, thanks to the spicy aroma and signature Thai taste. A must-buy when visiting Thailand!
4. Juice

Thailand produces all kinds of tropical fruits, which are super fresh — their juices are delicious too! Recommended brand: DOI KHAM, founded by the Thai Royal Project farm. The taste is particularly rich!
Coconut water is great as well!

5. ChaTraMue Thai Tea

Everyone knows it — ChaTraMue is the best Thai tea in Thailand. The tea leaves are especially fragrant. Thai milk tea is on the sweet side — aromatic and rich — and perfect as a souvenir.
6. Instant Noodles

Thailand’s most popular instant noodle brand is MAMA, followed by WAIWAI and YUMYUM. Try the tom yum flavor — it’s very rich, sour and spicy, and delicious. It’s also very cheap (about 1.5 RMB per packet).
7. Thai Seasoning Packets

Gourmet Market carries a wide range of Thai seasoning packets — tom yum soup, green curry noodles, pad thai, boat noodles, and other basic Thai flavors. They’re easy to cook and taste great. If you like cooking, don’t miss them!

8. BENTO Squid Strips

BENTO squid strips are on the spicy side and come in three flavors: blue (mild), red (medium), and orange (hot). Each strip is coated with a rich sauce. About 18 THB per pack (around 4 RMB). If you love spicy, don’t miss it!
9. Taokaenoi Seaweed

It’s a brand everyone recognizes, but in Thailand there are more varieties than in China — seaweed rolls, sheets; flavors include original, tomato, spicy, squid, tom yum, seafood, etc. It’s also cheaper than in China. Many visitors buy it by the box.
10. Fried Insect Snacks

For Thai people this snack is nothing unusual — Thailand has a tradition of eating insects. Rest assured the production is hygienic and healthy. It sounds adventurous, but it doesn’t taste weird — it’s actually really good and addictive. Give it a try!
11. DOI CHAANG Coffee Beans

Coffee lovers shouldn’t miss this! DOI CHAANG (Elephant Mountain) coffee is truly Thailand’s top brand, sourced from the best beans in northern Thailand. It has a strong aroma and a slightly bitter taste. I think it’s great. About 400 THB per bag (around 90 RMB).
